Updates...

So, I've kept it fairly quiet..but I started a full-time job at the beginning of the month.
It's not an ideal job for me, but it's something I do pretty easily & as it is a contract position, it allows me consistent cash for the next 3 months.  Provided I don't kill someone.

That said, it's definitely taking time away from what I really want to do (photography), but thankfully I still have weekends off for actual shoots and I am booking more, which is definitely a bonus! 

I'm not going to lie.  Consistent money is great. It's reliable, which is something I'd been lacking the past couple of years & I was very happy to be able to save some money from my first cheque as well as pay off my new camera.  I'm hoping that by the end of winter, it'll be paid off and I'll have more leads for my other gig.  I just hope it stays around....

As for the feminine wiles portion of my life, I don't really know where to begin.  I guess the best thing to say is that when it rains, it pours...and when there is a dryspell, it's a very long dryspell.
The same few players are in and out of my life (and all at the same time usually).

I'm pretty much just sitting back and seeing what happens.  That said, I'm also seriously considering joining up to another online dating site for 2012.  Not exactly the route I want to take, but I have no clue where the men are hanging out!*LOL*

I have a whole list of new projects I want to undertake this year from knitting to snowshoeing to learning a new technique in piano playing.  I really just want to do a lot this year.  Less 'figuring things out' and more doing...in all areas.  All my crazy projects will be listed in the new year once I really nail it down...and of course I'll add on all the stuff I never managed to finish this year.

I'm really looking forward to the new year...
