Score of the Day:: A new skin for my iPhone in the clearance section at Homesense (Damn, I love that store!) :: $1.70 *score*
Splurge of the Day:: A Nutribullet extractor (split the cost with my mom) that'll make eating/drinking breakfast easier. (I am SO not a breakfast person and I wanted to buy a juicer for ever, but this was cheaper, easier to clean and uses more of the vegetable -(I used a $10 giftcard I was given from Canadian Tire when I bought canning supplies in the fall and a bunch of Canadian Tire Money I had squirreled away). It wasn't a purchase I was planning on making, but I'm excited that I have. :: $97.00 (my part =$50)
So far, the menu planning has been ok (except I forgot to eat lunch today - whoops!)
I did buy some containers yesterday at Dollarama (Ziploc even!) to take with me for lunches at work and for general food storage in my tiny fridge. I normally skip lunch..but this new year means being more prepared and taking care of myself (as an adult - ugh. vitamins and everything)!
I've been meaning to go to sleep earlier (I am a night owl) and prep food/tea/water for the next day. Tonight is the test for that.
I've also got some great ideas for increasing my photography business this past weekend, now I just need to get a plan in order. More on this later. ;)

How is the nutribullet working out? I've been thinking of drinking more smoothies in the new year myself.
Love love love the Nutribullet. I'll post an update next week most likely. I've had a smoothie for breakfast everyday before work. Easy, fast and tasty. (And awesome, considering I am SO not a breakfast person)
